What’s better than a Game 7? Overtime in a Game 7.

And that’s exactly what the Winnipeg Jets were able to pull off on Sunday, rallying late to tie things up at 3-3 and force extra time against the St. Louis Blues in their winner-take-all finale.

The Jets trailed 3-1 entering the third period and looked like they weren’t going to get any closer … but then the final two minutes of regulation happened. First, a wrister from Vladislav Namestnikov at the 18:04 mark gave Winnipeg an inch of hope before Cole Perfetti’s miraculous goal in the final seconds (19:57) busted the doors of belief wide open.

Perfetti’s goal is the latest Game 7, game-tying goal in NHL history, and the second latest game-tying goal in Stanley Cup Playoffs history.

Talk about never giving up.

Unsurprisingly, the Jets’ uber-late comeback amazed and stunned hockey fans all over the world. Here are some of the best reactions to the phenomenal rally.
