South Korea investigators move to arrest impeached president Yoon

South Korean investigators on Thursday sought to execute a warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol over his botched attempt at declaring martial law which led to his impeachment. Officers at the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) and police were seen entering Yoon’s residence, where the suspended leader has been holed up, vowing to “fight” the warrant his legal team has called “unlawful and invalid”.
