Chelsea today begin their FA Cup campaign, with their third-round opener coming against League Two outfit Morecambe.

The Blues remain on the hunt for a first piece of silverware under the Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital era and have already tasted cup disappointment this season.

While Enzo Maresca’s side remain strong favourites for the Conference League, they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the round of 16 by Newcastle back in October.

With that in mind, perhaps more attention will be devoted to the FA Cup.

Strongly fancied to beat Morecambe later today, fans in the UK will not be able to watch.

The game was not selected for TV coverage, meaning it will not be moved from the 3pm GMT kick-off time later today.

As such, it will take place during the 3pm TV blackout imposed across English football, meaning it cannot be shown live.
