You can now hire an F150 Lightning for A$200 per day in Sydney – techAU

Ford has never officially released the F150 Lightning in Australia, but there’s a growing number making their way onto Australian roads, thanks to AusEV.

AusEV are responsible for importing the vehicles from overseas, the vehicles are then remanufactured to be compliant in our right-hand drive market.

The Ford F150 Lightning doesn’t come cheap, with a price tag north of A$150k before on-road costs. AusEV no longer import the standard range edition, instead, all of the new imports are the Extended range version with a larger battery.

There are a couple of conditions to be aware of, firstly, the minimum driving age is 30 years old, you driving is limited to 150km per day, with additional kilometres charged at a rate of A$0.80 per km.
